All Things Fall
My favourite poem quote is from Lapus Lazuli by William Butler Yeats.
For me this quote represents the basis of a paradigm I have embodied through various life processes. It sounds easy – just be merry through adversity. 2020 events as well as the leadership examples of Trump have caused me to struggle with how to do this. More on this later.
This site is a way for me to put down in a textual, linear form, my thoughts and musings on topics I either spend a good deal of time thinking about or struggling to come to a conclusion on regarding how I feel. This is not my first attempt at this, but it is the first where it is pseudo-anonymous.
As I begin again, I want to challenge myself to be vulnerable and not shy away from the topics that:
- Are of a personal nature
- Are politically controversial
- Are difficult for me to write about intelligently
- I spend a good deal of time on yet may not be deep or consequential
This may make it so that some of the items I do speaks towards are simply hobbies or passions. This also may make it so that what I write gets touched on again later with conflicting statements and internal views. I am aware that this is what may come about and embrace it. The process here is my own and not for you, though I invite you to come along and observe and sometimes interact with my journey. Lurkers welcome.
